Community Participation
The Community Participation is oriented to particular development works which create some resource for the community. We did this for Minor Irrigation structures (CCA ranges from 6ha to 40ha) in the field of Water Resource. It is tool for of proper utilization of costly water and Water Resource Management at field level / scheme level.
Agriculture Support Service: It is a multi disciplinary activity. In the field of Water Resource, there is a need for create additional resources for the community for efficient use of water per drop for more productivity. Crop Demonstrations, training, Exposure visits are the tools.
We had renderMicro Planning for Agriculture support for the Project ‘Repair Renovation and Restoration of Derelict Water Bodies directly linked to agriculture’ in the District South 24 Parganas in the year 2007-08 to 2009-10. The activities of the following line departments of Govt. of West Bengal were converged:
- Agriculture
- Horticulture
- Fishery
- ARD
- Forestry ( social forestation)
The micro planning is done for optimum combination of each activity and was based on availability of natural resources in the scheme areas and the created resources under the development project. So micro planning is a scheme specific trial. For the Water Body schemes under National Project we had prepared such Micro Plans for the beneficiaries in local language. The Micro Planning explored all the possible income including water tax and expenditure for the society and also the possible income sources of the individual farmers / stake holders of the society.
Awareness Campaign
It is most important activity of the organization. Awareness is a power full tool for motivation of community. We had organized several awareness camp. Important was the awareness camp at GangasagarMela 2010 & 2015 at Sagar Island, West Bengal. The GangasarMela has a deep impact for the people of the District South 24 Parganas. The people of the scheme areas of National Project of the Dist South 24 Parganas usually participate in such a holy gathering. We had utilized the opportunity. We display our awareness banner in the Stall of SagarPanchyatSamity at Mela Ground. We also distribute leaflets on the occasion. The participation was of grand success. Members of the WUA of National Project as well as other people from different States gathered to the pavilion. Our workers demonstrate the activities for different aspect for water conservation. We had conducted Awareness Programme in the field of Water Resource in the District of South 24 Parganas, Murshidabad, Nadia, Bankura and Purulia of State West Bengal.

NATIONAL PROJECT
Participated in National Project (India) for ‘Repair, Renovation and Restoration of derelict Water Bodies directly linked to agriculture’ for Capacity Building work. We were the only NGO carried out the capacity building work for the Water User’s Association. List of Water User’s Association.
RIDF
It was the project sponsored by NABARD (subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India) in the field of Water Resource for augmentation of Minor Irrigation facilities. We were associated for Water Management for efficient use of costly water by ensuring community participation. List of Registered Community based.
